If I was doing something at all this November and December in INSEAD Singapore - I was eating. So I'll be coming back occasionally with my memories. My friend once said when asked about what is there to do in Singapore: "There is so much to eat!". Many foods I discovered there became my strong favorites and are now part of my daily life. From Thai green curry to Ben & Jerry's ice-cream, especially Half baked. I know, one doesn't have to go to Singapore to get addicted to Ben & Jerry. I did though.

Roasted vegetables out of the oven
I was almost set to go to my first dancing class yesterday night. It's been 2 or 3 years that I stopped to dance and I felt like something has been missing since then. I came back from INSEAD determined to start again. My friend referred me to Gala dance school and here I am. Something happened though and I didn't go. I'll go on Saturday. I really will. So I stayed at home doing guess what.

Fresh and simple guacamole
Surely Michael (my little brother) wasn't going to appreciate the Thai green curry I was making yesterday. So I thought why not finally make my own guacamole with some tortilla chips for him? It is one of those simple and delicious things we love. Well, to be completely frank, I love the guacamole and he loves the chips.
Crispy cheese quesadillas
Last night I started from guacamole and ended up also making quesadillas (sandwiched tortillas with cheese based filling) because I came across this wonderful Jamie Oliver recipe. They worked perfectly - Michael (my little brother) kept happy and occupied by the tortilla chips and quesadillas for the whole dinner and I even still have some guacamole left for myself.

Coffee bean Moscow cafe - my sweet home
I can't tell you how much I missed this place. I've never been especially consistent with restaurants and cafes I go to, but I keep coming back to Coffee bean one for several years. I come out to the pretty Pjatnitskaya street. Crispy winter is around me. I used to complain so much about Moscow cold. Now it's the first time in many years that I notice how beautiful the snowy winter is.

Most inspiring food writers
I do realize that after I publish this you might never come back to reading me. This is about food writers. For me they are incredible and inspiring. Reading and watching them I found my passion for food. I read them when I’m happy for ideas. I read when I’m sad for support. I hope once I’ll meet each of them personally.
