Coffee bean Moscow cafe - my sweet home

I can't tell you how much I missed this place. I've never been especially consistent with restaurants and cafes I go to, but I keep coming back to Coffee bean one for several years. I come out to the pretty Pjatnitskaya street. Crispy winter is around me. I used to complain so much about Moscow cold. Now it's the first time in many years that I notice how beautiful the snowy winter is.

I'm running late but I still stop and take a picture of Coffee bean large window. There is so much light and life inside it. I know, I'll enter and a mix of strong coffee aromas will hit me. I'll get surrounded by warm buzz and hear a smiling "Zdravstvujte" from the barista.

The dessert vitrina is still the same. Normally I'd have painful trouble trying to pick ONE dessert. However today I have craving for Apple-cheese cobbler. Apples are baked with cinnamon under soft cheddar dough. Like one thousand times before I ask to heat it and top it with vanilla sauce.

I do not know much about coffee, so the fact I like it here won't help you. However my university classmate who introduced me to the Coffee bean once said "There is nothing better than the milk foam on top of cinnamon cappuccino from  the Coffee bean".

After her I got hooked up and started spending hours and hours of my weekends there with a book or laptop. Somehow the buzz, the smell and the whole spirit of this place was making me back peaceful and positive.

I loved the Pjatnitskaya 5 branch for the pillows you can sit on in the large window frame looking onto the street. The Pokrovka 21 is very different with its old and on purpose careless interior, bulky furniture and free wifi. I can't say which one is better.
My mom understands much more about coffee than I do and I see her buying coffee for home coffee machine in the Coffee bean shop. Now she is drinking a cappuccino and eating the cottage cheese strudel.

She also appreciated the Coffee bean once we came there together. It became our spot of relief. We'd come there late destroyed after a working day, eat and talk talk talk... And then we'd leave and go home still tired but inspired and hopeful. Just as we are going now.
